Woody Allen is a man who claims to lead a simple life, careful never to stray far from his comfort zone.

In his films, he’s known for playing the classic neurotic character who keeps an assortment of Xanax and Valium on standby. One of his classic pet peeves is Los Angeles. Or more specifically, he shows deep preference for the east coast over the west coast. This clip from Annie Hall is a perfect example:
Whether his west coast feelings are based on his real life or not, he’s finally been caught red-handed.
A new video has hit the webways that shows Woody confronted with serious danger in the heart of L.A. Recorded by the legend himself, while driving up Highland Avenue, this is a fascinating look inside the world of an ordinary guy just trying to get by in a crazy world.
If only this day-in-the life Woody Allen video could capture the masses like a Mel Gibson rant or a Lindsay Lohan court appeal. It’s nothing epic, but it may rival Match Point when it comes to suspense. Enjoy:
